I’ve always believed that the spaces we surround ourselves with have a way of making us feel something.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved creating beautiful interiors. What began as a childhood fascination with rearranging furniture eventually became a passion for thoughtfully designed spaces that feel inviting, authentic, and uniquely their own.
Walnut + Reid is an extension of that passion - a home staging studio built on the belief that the most beautiful spaces don’t need to be completely transformed. Sometimes, they simply need the right details to bring out what makes them special.
A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Courtney. The founder and creative eye behind Walnut + Reid.
My love for interior design started long before I knew it could be a career. As a little girl, I spent countless hours rearranging Barbie furniture, always convinced there was a better way to make everything fit together.
Not much has changed.
Over the years, that love of creating beautiful spaces followed me into my own dorm, apartments, and homes. When I sold my first house, the feedback I received on its interior design planted a seed: What if I could actually do this for a living?
That idea grew when my fiancé and I began renovating our first investment property together. I fell in love with selecting the finishes, materials, and design elements that would give the home its character. And as the renovation came together, I realized I didn’t want to hire someone to fill the rooms with just any furniture. I wanted to choose every piece to make it feel like it belonged.
That realization became the inspiration for Walnut + Reid.
Today, I bring that same perspective to home staging, thoughtfully selecting furnishings and details that highlight each property’s individuality and help potential buyers see what makes it special.
